Workshop on Teaching Aid Preparation
On 29th July, 2025 “Workshop on Teaching Aid Preparation” under Pre- Internship orientation programme was organised in our SGGSCE institute with the guidance of Honourable management and respected Principal Dr.Ranju Bala Madam. Our Esteemed Guests Mr.Sunil Mehral Sir principal of Govt. Meritorious School, Talwara and Mr.Amandeep Singh principal of GSSS School, Sagra were invited to took presentations of students through models prepared and guided them for further improvements for effectiveness.
Day 1(29/072025) : Students of B.Ed 3rd participated and showcased their efforts in developing and using innovative teaching aids in the classroom. The aids were assessed on predefined criteria by experts and best aids were selected in the subjects of Science, Social Studies and Computer Science. Before announcing the results, Respected Principal Dr. Ranju Bala Madam welcome our experts and thankful for their valuable time,acknowledged the efforts of the students and wish them best of luck .
Mr. Sunil Mehral (expert) explained that Teaching aids facilitate the learning of students in various ways. Teachers use different teaching aids to make their students listen attentively and interestingly. Also, Hands-on activities, experiments, and real-world examples using teaching aids can connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
Then, Mr. Amandeep Singh (expert) also elaborated planning and preparation of teaching aids required initial effort, they can save time and energy in the long run by making explanations clearer and lessons more efficient. Teaching aids can make learning more enjoyable and less daunting, especially for complex or abstract topics.
After that,Prize distribution ceremony was organised in which our distinguished guests, principal madam and vice principal madam distributed the prizes to the students in sequence as follows:
Pedagogy of Science:
First Prize- Pallavi and Priyanka
Second Prize (2 teams)-Pallavi , Narinder and also Aradhana got second prize
Third Prize - Nisha, Ankita
Pedagogy of Social Studies:
First Prize- Raj Rani ( 115), Monika ( 71)
Second Prize-Bindu ( 24) , Diksha Dharwal (28)
Pedagogy of Computer Science:
First Prize-Alka, Hitesh
Our Principal Madam honoured the Distinguished guests Mr.Sunil Mehral and Mr.Amandeep Singh and thank them for their inspiring address and motivation to students.
At Last, Asst.Prof. Harjit Singh Sir expressed sincere and heartfelt vote of thanks to esteemed guests and special thanks to our principal madam for their unwavering support and guidance throughout the planning and execution of this event and SGGSCE team for making this event a resounding success.
