On 18th July, 2025 Workshop on “Micro teaching Skills” was organised in our renowned SGGSCE Institute under the guidance of Honourable Management and Respected Principal Ms.Ranju Bala Madam. Presentation of the Micro skills was presented by Esteemed Guest Dr. Parminder Madam working as Assistant Professor in Lovely Professional University Phagwara, Punjab. The programme commenced by the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the Dr. Parminder Mam (Guest), Dr. Ranju Bala Madam(Principal), Ms. Maninder Kaur Madam(Vice Principal) and faculty members. After that recitation of the college shabad, setting a serene and spiritual tone for the program.
Session1 : In first session, Dr. Parminder Madam explained in detail the “ Skill of Explanation” to the students in very interactive manner. Students were actively participating, learned the techniques and how to confidently use skill so that students remain active and bound for learning in the class. Lot of queries were also discussed. At last, students also prepared a lesson based on skill of explanation by using components.
Session 2: In second session, Dr. Parminder Madam elaborated “Skill of Probing Questions and Skill of Stimulus Variation” to the students. Each component was clearly explained and by the use of these components students prepared their skills so fluently. All the doubt of the students were cleared by Madam and lot of drilling was done so that every student clarified their skills and how to apply effectively during real classroom settings.
After that, our principal Dr. Ranju Bala Madam extend a heartfelt gratitude to distinguished guest speaker for sharing their valuable insights and expertise with students. Their knowledge and experiences have provided the students with a wealth of information and inspiration. Also, a sincere thanks to organising team for meticulous planning and coordination because their hard work and dedication have ensured the smooth execution of this event, making it a great success.
At Last, Our Principal Madam honoured the Distinguished guest Dr. Parminder Madam and thank them for their inspiring address and hope to continue this association in the future. Overall, the workshop was complete success.
