Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Education Beghpur Kamlooh organised a program to remember the legend S. Bhagat Singh with great zeal on March 23, 2025 under the guidance of our respected Principal Ms. Amandeep Kaur Madam. Bhagat Singh was a revolutionary freedom fighter who was hanged to death by the Britishers at the age of 23 years. His early execution made him a national hero of the Indian freedom struggle against colonial rule. Fondly called Shaheed Bhagat Singh, many consider him one of the earliest Marxists of India. Our faculty members delivered speech and students recited patriotic poems, speech and verses inspired by the freedom struggle. At last our respected vice principal Ms. Maninder Kaur Madam also elaborated in detail the life and sacrifices of this great patriot of the nation. He discussed that Bhagat Singh’s death brought high patriotic emotions throughout the country. The event fostered a sense of patriotism and national pride among the students.

Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Education, Beghpur Kamlooh celebrated World Water Day on March 22, 2025 under the guidance of our respected Principal Ms.Amandeep Kaur Madam. The theme of World water day 2025 was Glacier preservation. Water is a very important natural resource for maintaining our health, ecosystem and developing the economy of the world. The main objective of World water day is to achieve sustainable development goals and to provide safe and clean water to everyone by 2030. Glacier preservation is very important otherwise fast melting Glacier will bring disasters like increasing levels of water in sea, Flood, land sliding etc. So, individual actions to reduce water consumption such as conserving water, using water efficient appliances and supporting sustainable practices. Another thing was to advocate for policies and initiatives to protect climate change and Glacier. On the whole we must encourage collaboration and partnership between governments, organizations and communities to address the water crisis.Of course this was a very informative program indeed.In this program, students presented speech, poems, Quiz questions, Interesting facts and short clips on water conservation etc.

On 24/03/2025 Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Education Beghpur Kamlooh Mukerian organised visit for B.Ed 2nd year students to “Jagat Singh Sachdeva Ashakiran- Special School for Mentally Challenged Children” run by Ashadeep welfare society regd. under the guidance of our honourable Chairman Er. Parmjit Singh Sir, Worthy Chairperson Ms.Aravindar Kaur Madam, Respected MD Er. Prabhjit Singh Sir, Respected Director Ms.Amandeep Kaur Madam and our respected Principal Ms. Amandeep Kaur Madam. As a part of B. Ed. curriculum subject “Inclusive Education ”, students of B.Ed 2nd year under Inclusive Education Programme visited this institution which provides training for daily living skills to Mentally Retarded children. Vocational training is also imparted to students. They interacted with special children and tried to know about their needs and problems. Students also purchased some utility items like bags, candles, envelopes etc. just to appreciate and encourage their efforts. Students and their teacher also presented a token of love to the Principal and also distributed among these groceries for differently abled children. On the whole, it was a life time learning experience.

On March 25, 2025 B.Ed result of the 3rd semester (2023-2025) was announced by the Panjab University Chandigarh in which the performance of the students of “Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Education “Beghpur Kamlooh Mukerian was Excellent. Our student Ramandeep kaur got 90%(1st position), Palwinder Singh got 89% (2nd position), Gurpreet Kaur got 88.33% (3rd position) and the rest of the students also did their best. Our honourable Chairman Er. Parmjit Singh Sir, Worthy Chairperson Ms.Aravindar Kaur Madam, Respected MD Er. Prabhjit Singh Sir, Respected Director Ms.Amandeep Kaur Madam appreciated the performances of the students and teachers and extended heartfelt congratulations to all students on their achievements and hard work, wishing them continued success in their future endeavors. Also our respected Principal Ms. Amandeep Kaur Madam acknowledged their hard work and congratulated them. Our overall result was 100%.
Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Education Beghpur Kamlooh Mukerian organised " Remedial & Enrichment Classes" and "Cooperative Learning Classes" under the guidance of Honourable Management and Respected Principal Ms. Amandeep Kaur Madam.
Firstly, 2 days of remedial and enrichment classes conducted with the objective to additional support who are struggling with a specific subject, focus on reviewing core concepts, addressing learning gaps, building foundational skills. The classes were allotted to the respective teachers in which they discussed in detail of Paper pattern, division of marks, time management, Role of diet, Positive atmosphere, skill development, Study habits, motivation, self management, problem solving ability etc.
As the increasing burden on students including academic pressure, emotional stress, lack of concentration which leads to decline in performance during exams and affects its overall marks. So, specialised " Yoga classes" were arranged to improve mental and physical well being by doing different yoga postures, asanas, meditation to dispel all stress, anxiety, depression.
Then, Cooperative learning classes were implemented in which groups were structured to work together for a designated period of time over 3 days to achieve shared learning goals and jointly completed specific tasks. The main objective of cooperative learning was to share their ideas and information with the groups, listen respectfully to others and ensured that the groups reflects on the progress. The key elements of cooperative learning included individual countability, face to face promotive interaction, group processing, positive interdependence, develops social skills including listening, taking turns, conflict resolution skills, leadership skills and team work skills. So, all the elements were well covered and overall programme was a complete success.

An Extension Lecture on the topic "Changing Context of Teachers in India and Globally" was organized under the guidance of the management and respected Principal Ms. Amandeep Kaur Madam. The session was delivered by Mr. Ajit Singh from Sri Guru Gobind Singh Public School, Beghpur Kamlooh.
Highlights of the Lecture:
Following the lecture, a Question and Answer session was held where students asked various questions related to their subjects. After addressing all the queries, a present was given to the students.
In conclusion, Mr. Ajit Singh exhorted the students to show selfless devotion towards their profession when they become teachers and to work for the welfare of society and the nation, as teaching is a noble profession.
On April 25, 2025, One day workshop was organised in Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Education Beghpur Kamlooh successfully with collaboration of "AIESEC -Youth Leadership Movement " under the guidance of Honourable Chairman Er.Parmjit Singh Sir, Respected Chairperson Ms.Aravindar Kaur Mam, honourable Managing director Er Prabhjit Singh ,respected Director Ms. Amandeep Kaur Madam and respected Principal Ms. Amandeep Kaur Mam. AIESEC Team members Mr.Luthfi Naseer ( Chief Marketing Officer), Mr. Rahul Kumar ( HOD in cooperative sector) , Mr. Sebin Josh ( Head in Intership) , Ms.Sania( HR Officer) were present. Interaction Session started with B. Ed 2nd and 4th Semester in which Mr. Rahul and Ms. Sania overviewed that AIESEC is a global platform spread world in wide countries like Egypt, Tunisia, Sri Lanka, Brazil etc for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential, a non-political, independent, not-for-profit organisation run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. Eligibility requirements included Graduation, Basic Skills in English and age ranges from 18-30 years. AIESEC also provides certificates from Company, UK and India. The other highlights included Fees relaxation, Accommodation facility, Monthly stipends and application process will be all done by company, Global opportunities, development of oneself and boosting up career. At Last, Question Answer session was organised and students doubts was clarified by team. Students also join AIESEC Community for more updates. Also our respected Vice principal Ms. Maninder Kaur mam honoured the team respectfully. One day workshop was insightful and successful.
