On 28th February 2026, Technical Club in collaboration with Science Club celebrated National Science Day at SGGS College of Education. The celebration was organized in accordance with this year’s theme, “Women in Science: Catalysing Viksit Bharat,”emphasised the crucial role of women in scientific progress and their contribution towards building a developed nation.
To mark the occasion, three major activities — Drama based on women in science, Speech and Important Facts was organised to develop scientific temperament and critical thinking among students.
The celebration concluded with an insightful interaction between Asst. Prof. Maninder Kaur and the students which focused to promote scientific awareness, encourage intellectual engagement, and inspire students to explore emerging developments in science and technology. At last, students were honoured for their remarkable performances and enthusiastic participation. The session motivated students to pursue excellence in science and innovation while reinforcing the significance of women’s participation in scientific advancement.
