Research and Development Cell of SGGS College of Education Beghpur Kamlooh organised “FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME for B.Ed Interns and teachers in collaboration with MAHINDRA GROUP CLASSROOM-NAANDI FOUNDATION. 7 Days Workshop on Employability and Soft Skills from 21/01/ 2026 to 02/02/2026 at Hall 1 of college.
Ms.Sonia Rana,ILA certified Soft Skills Trainer was the adjunct faculty from Mahindra Pride Classroom. The girls' students were divided into 2 Batches and allotted classrooms with ICT facility for the effective delivery of the training.
Key Skills Taught by Adjunct Faculty:
* Employability & Job Readiness: Resume preparation, mock interviews, job portal navigation, and networking.
* Communication Skills: Functional English, public speaking, and presentation skills.
* Digital Skills: Training in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Life Skills & Soft Skills: Time management, goal setting, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, problem-solving, and professional ethics (teamwork, responsibility).
* Personal Development: Building self-esteem, grooming, and body language.
* Financial Literacy: Basics of money management and income division.
On the final day of the class , a feedback session was organized to know the learning outcome of the students. The programme was concluded with certificate distributions and students (Manisha, Shivani, Savita and Nancy) were awarded for top performances in all activities. At last, Principal Dr. Ranju Bala extended a heartfelt gratitude for expertise and insights which provided immense value to our students as well as teachers and appreciated the high-impact training programme which focused on employability skills, soft skills, and personality development.
This recognition motivated students to continue developing their soft skills, enhancing their employability and future career prospects.
