An Extension Lecture on 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji was successfully organized by the Education Department of the SGGSCE Institute on 19th November,2025. The event focused on the theme “Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur: Hind Di Chadar.” The distinguished motivational speaker Mr. Dilbag Singh ji accompanied with Ms.Kamlesh Kaur was warmly welcomed by the principal Dr. Ranju Bala mam. On his address, Mr. Dilbag Singh ji emphasized the global significance of commemorating the martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, highlighting his teachings on unity, spirituality, courage and peace. He also recalled the martyrdom of Bhai Mati Das Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji and Bhai Dayala Ji and paid tribute through shlokas reflecting on the contemporary relevance of the Guru’s supreme sacrifice. The commitment by the Sikh Guru to protect and support the liberty of all the people of a country was unprecedented. This type of supreme sacrifice had never previously been recorded in human history. Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji’s legacy is an inspiration to generations and reminds us of the importance of protecting justice and religious freedom even in the face of adversity. The teachings and sacrifices of Guru Sahib Ji continue to shine as a sign of hope and justice in a world that yearns for such principles.
