On 21st August 2025, our Honourable Management sponsored a one-day trip for our respected Principal Mam accompanied by faculty members of SGGSCE institute, to Darbar Sahib, Durgiana Temple, and Sada Pind (Amritsar). We commenced our journey at 6:00 am, picking up teachers from designated locations, and had breakfast en route. We arrived at “Darbar Sahib”located in Amritsar, at 9:00 am. We walked along the glittering marble walkway encircling the serene Amrit Sarovar. Subsequently, we joined a large crowd queue to visit the Golden Temple, where we were mesmerized by traditional music played throughout the temple. Then we had Guru ka Langar, a complimentary communal lunch served to all visitors, exemplifying the principles of equality and service. Next, we proceeded to “Durgiana Temple”which glorifies the sanctity of the temple in the image of divine beauty. Inside the main temple's central Garbh Grah, idols of Shri Lakshmi-Narayan, Shri Ram Darbar, and Shri Radha-Krishna Ji, along with Shri Giriraj Ji Maharaj, presented a wonderful divine appearance. The experience was peaceful. Finally, we visited “Sadda Pind” a vibrant Punjabi culture living museum offering visitors an immersive experience of the art, culture, and rich heritage of rural Punjab. This recreated village setting transported us back in time, allowing us to experience traditional ways of life in Punjab. Our faculty members took photographs and enjoyed themselves thoroughly. We are grateful to our management for organizing this trip, which refreshed our minds before the start of the new session.
